Lei Wang:40 years old, Ph.D., Senior Engineer, Executive Vice President of Engineering Transformation Research Institute of Boao Bio Group Co. He led the research and development of microfluidic disc-type multi-indicator parallel detection chip, put forward the combination of photochemical processing and nano-injection moulding microfluidic chip mass production method, and developed the respiratory pathogens rapid detection chip system, which has reached the international leading level, and was evaluated by the industry experts as ‘the first of its kind in China, with significant clinical application value’, and passed the ‘Innovative Medical Device Special Approval’ of the State Pharmaceutical Administration of China. It was evaluated by industry experts as ‘the first of its kind in China with remarkable clinical application value’, and passed the ‘Special Approval for Innovative Medical Devices’ by State Drug Administration, and has been applied in more than 100 hospitals nationwide. The company has published 27 scientific research papers and academic conference papers, applied for 31 Chinese and international patents (including 10 authorised), and transformed a number of scientific research achievements, and won the first prize of Science and Technology Award of China Instrument Society in 2015, and was awarded the Excellence Prize of China Patent Award by State Intellectual Property Office in 2016.
